yellowstone hot springs

If you are feeling a little road-weary and want a day of relaxation during your visit to Gardiner, then check out the Yellowstone Hot Springs. You'll love the chance to soak in pools of natural mineral water with continual flow-through circulation. Yellowstone Hot Springs is located along the banks of the Yellowstone River 8 miles north of the entrance to Yellowstone Park in the beautiful Paradise Valley.

Yellowstone Hot Springs was originally the first mineral hot springs established near Yellowstone Park by Julius LaDuke in the early 1900s. Over the years, the area has changed several times and has been home to a hotel as well as a western-themed dude ranch. Construction for the current Yellowstone Hot Springs pools started in January 2018.

REASONS TO VISIT

Other than just the fun of it, there are additional health benefits of soaking in mineral water. These include increased circulation, natural pain and stress relief, and help for irritated or dry skin.

Pick your ideal swimming temperature from their three pools - the hot pool (103 - 105 degrees), the main pool (98-100 degrees F), or the cold plunge at a chilly 60 to 65 degrees.

Yellowstone Hot Springs was an amazing addition to our trip to Yellowstone National Park. After a long day of hiking, a soak in the natural springs was relaxing and rejuvenating. The scenery was beautiful and added to the experience.

Relaxing and great view from the hot pools. Very clean and seems to be new. Very close to Gardiner (right off the major highway).

Great place to unwind, they have 3 options for a pool (ice cold, warm and hot) and also a Kneipp bath to walk through. Very nice property with areas to relax and enjoy outside of just soaking. The whole vibe was very relaxing, the showers were clean and they offered changing areas with privacy.

We wanted to get our hot spring soak in. The couple hot springs within YNP were closed. This place was great and you go between the different temperature pools. The changing and showers rooms were nice. The facilities were well kept, updated and clean.
